2015 incoming Combined Medicine/Pediatric residents at Hurley Medical Center (Bio Page)And the matches are ...

By Erin M. Walker

Welcome to the new incoming residents of Hurley's Combined Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics Residency Training Program.

This year we had a very competitive interview season. We had more than 300 applicants and only 48 interview slots for 3 available positions in our program. So 100 candidates applied for each position, while 16 candidates were in the running for each position!

Click on the bio page at right for a little information about our new interns. Take some time out of your day to review them. Send them an email to congratulate them on matching with our program. Most importantly, welcome them to our family.

I would also like to give a big thanks to Drs. Naraparaju, B Ahmed, Burrell and Julie Campe for conducting smooth, efficient and informative interviews that made each date run so smoothly. Thank you to all of the residents who helped with the tours of the hospital and North Pointe. Thank you to all of the residents who helped with the pre-interview dinners at 501 Bar & Grill. Thank you to Julie Messing for assisting with the bell ringing and keeping everything on time for the interviewing stations. This was quite an amazing season, and it would not have been possible without each and every one of you. 

So without further ado, open up that attachment and meet the newest additions to our family!
